Annually, beginning in September, the Development and Operations Section announces the opening of acceptance of applications for the Development and Operations Section’s Park Maintenance Management School (PMMS) Scholarship Program.
Each year the Development and Operations Section provides scholarships for full and partial funding to attend the CPRS Park Maintenance Management School that is held each November at the UCLA Conference Center in Lake Arrowhead, California. PMMS is the premier park management training opportunity in the western United States. The school features First Year, Second Year and Graduate programs and the opportunity to network with top park management professionals from the city, county, special district and state agencies in the western and southwestern United States. The subject matter is taught by park professionals, consultants, vendors and public officials who are leaders in our industry.
Applications are due generally due the first week in October and applicants are notified of the awardee selections in mid-October.
